ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
ELECTRIC GATE
At check-in, you will be provided with a code to operate the electric gate.
The keypad is located on the right-hand gatepost as you arrive at the villa.
The gate will automatically close behind you after a short time. A light sensor pauses the gate's operation if the beam is broken (eg a person or car).
DOOR LOCKS
The front door has a Nest x Yale electronic deadbolt. You will be provided with code at check-in.
To unlock:
Press the Yale logo to wake the lock
Type in the code on the touchscreen keypad.
Press the blue 'tick' symbol at the bottom right of the keypad.
To lock:
From outside, with the door shut, press the Yale logo.
From inside, turn the deadbolt knob on the lock.
Privacy mode:
When inside the villa, you can disable the external keypad by pressing the button just above the deadbolt knob.
Press again to cancel privacy mode.
Guest Suite:
You will be provided with a physical key to the separate guest suite at check-in. Please do not take this key off the property.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
Please be aware that Pool and Landscaping contractors visit the property on a regular schedule to serve the pool and landscaping, and perform other maintenance.
TRASH & RECYLING
Trash and replying are deposited in separate bins located outside the front gate, which are emptied twice a week.
Re-cycle glass and plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and cardboard.
Please support the recycling effort - the island is small and landfill space is limited.
SOLAR POWER
As of May 2022 the villa now benefits from a modern solar power installation.

10kW of generating capacity is neatly and discreetly distributed over 10 panels on the south east facing front roof and 18 panels tucked away on the south west facing side roof, creating energy from first light until sundown.

This both runs the villa and charges 38kWh storage (uses the latest LFP battery chemistry - the safe one), managed by a Sol-Ark hybrid inverter that automatically manages villa power load day and night between the panels, batteries, and grid.
